The lampshade of the Babel lamp is inspired by the shape of the biblical tower: a spiral that wraps around itself in a continuous upward momentum. The episode of the construction of the Tower of Babel narrates the origin of the impossibility of dialogue among men, while the Babel lamp puts the dialogue between different elements that coexist in harmony at the center of its design.
